Chrissy Teigen is the queen of the internet, and we don't really need to explain that at great length. I mean, just click on the link in the previous sentence and you'll see we're thoroughly committed to documenting her many online antics.

Now, Chrissy is embroiled in a back-and-forth with the vegetarian and vegan community, and it all started where insane fights on the Internet usually start: a tweet.

Let’s vote: Which #bacon is perfect? #poll pic.twitter.com/XhJrB1MusO

— Hempler Foods Group (@HemplersFoods) March 19, 2018

In this picture from the Hempler foods Group, who are probably having their best week on social media ever, different bacon strips are labeled for voting purposes. Teigen shared the tweet with her followers, announcing her favorite bacon consistency. It's number 4.

4. Chewy crispy fat, crispy juicy meat. https://t.co/WhFiLxOucw

You can't talk about meat eating online without attracting vegans. She was immediately inundated with the shocking information that bacon is derived from pigs, which are living animals.

Be warned, some vegans deployed some graphic imagery into Teigen's mentions, which she replied to, oh god:

I disagree. I do not like eating them alive.

— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) March 27, 2018

Some challenged her to look at a cute pig's face and not feel bad about eating them:

The also deserve to be Ham, Pork Chops, ribs, etc.

— JR Pipe (@Corrigan_Tweets) March 28, 2018

Wow. Can’t imagine what it must feel like to think that you’re SO important that others exist/die just for YOU! Respecting all life is a far more rewarding way to live.

— Kalel 🐱 (@KalelKitten) March 28, 2018

Teigen did not leave it alone. She kept replying:

I can’t imagine thinking I’m a god because I don’t eat meat while simultaneously being a judgemental brat to strangers online.

— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) March 28, 2018

And people are still coming at her with comments:

How can y’all eat bacon....🤢 disgusting

— Caroline (@qtolzanski) March 27, 2018

peacefully, ideally. https://t.co/gRNykXcJEO

— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) March 27, 2018

Though some she seems to find more strange than aggressive:

are you going from left to right or right to left

— nicole (@jaurenandez) March 27, 2018

Are you serious? They’re labeled https://t.co/HadBeeVQcq

— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) March 27, 2018

But days later Teigen still seems pretty frustrated with the attacks on her meat-eating:

I always think that one day, I will probably give being a vegetarian a try. The thing that would stop me? I *never* want to feel as entitled and judgmental as the ones losing their minds in my mentions.

— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) March 29, 2018

You turned Chrissy Teigen against vegetarianism, folks.

She mostly seems to have a problem with how irrational everyone is being:

“I UsEd 2 ResPecT u!!!!!!!!!!” ??? John ate chicken wings off my ass and my last cookbook was 98 percent gratuitous pork. I said I prefer bacon #4 and just now you’ve lost respect?

— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) March 29, 2018

Yes, John Legend did very memorably eat chicken wings off his wife's butt:

Here's the full vid, which you know you need:

But vegans and vegetarians say they're the ones getting senselessly attacked:

I had this dude find out I was vegan second hand, walked into the next room to tell me "fuck you" then stormed out. I was like????

— k i l l a 🐝 b e a s (@killaabeas) March 29, 2018

I’m not vegetarian, I just happen to not like bacon and I’m about sick of the pro-bacon lectures.

— Auntie Nanners 🤦‍♀️ (@NannersBooBoo) March 29, 2018

Totally. Getting shamed by meat eaters is unreal to me. So is being lumped in with a group of people and being stereotyped. 🤔

— Velvet (@velvetfreight) March 29, 2018

I told a guy one time "Look. If I don’t eat meat, that just means there's more for you." He loved it and left me alone from then on

— susan rojas (@16thCenturyGirl) March 29, 2018

EXACTLY. And the worst part is the same "jokes" over and over again. 28 years I've heard the same 3 jokes repeatedly in social settings and if I don't laugh my ass off at them I'm a "snobby vegan with no sense of humor".

— Heather Parks (@heatherlelane) March 29, 2018

That last one is absolutely true, and I GUARANTEE someone will write some version of this in the comments:

"How do you know someone's a vegan? They tell you!"

That joke is so stale you could smear bone marrow on it like a cracker.
