America’s Got Talent Season 18 returned on Wednesday night for the third results show of the season, as two acts made it to the Finals. At the end of the night, host Terry Crews announced that America had voted for Mzanzi Youth Choir and Putri Ariani.

These two acts will join Lavendar Darcangelo, Adrian Stoica & Hurricane, Ahren Belisle, and Murmuration in the Finals of Season 18. Wednesday’s episode also featured a performance from Season 17 finalists Chapel Hart.

Two Acts Move on in Third AGT Results Show

During Wednesday’s results show, Crews announced that the Top 5 acts after America’s vote were MOS, Mzansi Youth Choir, Putri Ariani, Philip Bowen, and Warrior Squad. That was later narrowed down to the Top 3 — Mzansi Youth Choir, Putri Ariani, and Warrior Squad.

However, only two acts could move on to the finale. Those acts were Mzansi Youth Choir and Putri Ariani. They happened to be the two Golden Buzzer acts who took the stage during Tuesday night’s performance episode.

That means we had to say goodbye to nine acts from this week’s show — Summer Rios, Herwan Legaillard, Justin Jackson, Barry Brewer Jr., Trigg Watson, Parent Jam, MOS, Philip Bowen, and Warrior Squad.

Chapel Hart Performed During the Show

During Wednesday’s results show, Season 17 finalists Chapel Hart took the stage as guest performers. The country trio performed their song “Fam Damily,” off their latest album Glory Days. They brought the energy as usual.

When Crews asked the group what competing on AGT meant to them, group member Trea Swindle replied, “It sounds like an overstatement, but it literally changed our lives.”

There are only two more weeks of live shows before the Season 18 finale — airing September 26 and 27. Do you agree with this week’s results? Did your favorite act make it through to the Season 18 Finals? Let us know in the comments below.
